Hello and welcome to the Instigators' website! Our team has an average of fifteen students per year, and around six college mentors. We are located in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, and we are members of the Sault Area High School and Career Center.
Team 1596 Mission
The Instigators will promote the disciplines of Mathematics, Science, and Technology along with life skills such as professionalism, team building, and community service. These skills will be learned and used during the development of a robot which will be the outcome after many hours of working alongside mentors from industry, pre- and post-educational institution, and community volunteers who feel these disciplines are also important for young adults to develop. Our ultimate goal is to inspire others to embrace the recognition and inspiration of science, technology, and gracious professionalism.
